Verizon Data SIM Card - Grandfathered Unlimited - NO THROTTLE, NO CONTRACT
This auction is to rent one of our Verizon data SIM cards, and to purchase a phone-as-data-device (PADDtm) to use in connection with that rented SIM card.  The purchased PADDtm will be yours to keep.  This auction is NOT for an Assumption of Liability (i.e., AOL).
Our Verizon SIM cards are activated and provisioned with a Verizon grandfathered unlimited data plan.
NO DATA THROTTLING.  There is no throttling (or ?network management?) in using our grandfathered unlimited data provisioned SIM cards, meaning the line speed will not throttle after 22GB, 50GB or any other specific GB.
NO HARD DATA CAP. There is no hard data cap imposed by Verizon on any individual line on our account. But, for us to appropriately manage our entire account with Verizon, you agree to a "soft data cap" or "soft cap", as follows:
for rental SIM use with any of our approved PADDtm devices, "SOFT CAP" is 300GB per month, OR
for rental SIM use with any other device that is not a PADDtm device, "SOFT CAP" is 100GB.
If you exceed the "soft cap" in any given month, we may, after email notice to you, (1) suspend your service until the end of the applicable month, (2) charge you a reconnection fee if you desire service reconnection, or (3) (in case of excessive or repeated exceeding of "soft cap") terminate your service with us effective immediately.
RENTAL TERMS. Rental of our SIM cards will be at agreed upon eBay auction price, which price will be our agreed-upon, one (1) full month rental rate going forward. Your first month will not begin to run until date of delivery to you. Second month rental may need to be a partial, prorated month based on the full month rental rate in order to bring your service/payment month in line with that of the rest of the lines on our account, namely with service for then-current month ending (and payment for then-next month due by) the 5th of each calendar month.  We will give you details on how to complete payment after auction completion.
We won't increase your monthly rental rate unless Verizon increases our costs, and we will only do so (if at all) once per year (i.e., at our annual January-February cost review).  For context, we have not raised our rental rates for the last 4 years.
Service will be prepaid month-to-month, terminable either by you or by us for any or no reason. No prepayment refunds will be provided for partial months.
STATIC IP AVAILABLE: If you don't know what this is, you probably don't need it. If you want it, it's available for an extra /month.
AVAILABLE DEVICES. Your eBay auction price does NOT include the purchase price for an approved phone-as-data-device (PADDtm). The PADDtm that we have available (and approved) for use with your Verizon data SIM card is as follows (and subject to purchase payment of additional fee, in parentheses):

All PADDtm are used but in excellent condition, are warranted to be working as of the date of delivery, and are otherwise provided AS-IS, WHERE-IS with no warranty of any kind.  Having said that, we are finding that our PADDtms are lasting on average about two (2) years or longer, and if any PADDtm breaks down during your use of that PADDtm in connection with your rented Verizon SIM card from us, we will fix/replace it for you with a functionally equivalent for just whatever is our cost (i.e., no mark-up).
You can use your PADDtm either in WiFi hotspot mode, or as a USB modem in combination with a suitable router.  We have suitable routers (i.e., preconfigured ASUS AC68U, where our configuration is proprietary to allow router to use PADDtm as a USB modem) available for an additional 0 per router (plus shipping); please contact us if this is of interest to you.
