    Description

    Carl Thieme Dresden Hand Painted Cherubs Doves Floral Gold Reticulated Plate
    Beautiful reticulated porcelain dinner plate. Decorated with a very nicely hand painted scene of three cherubs with doves, surrounded by foliage and trees. With gold gilt highlights to the reticulation and hand painted flowers in pink, blue, purple, yellow and orange. Marked on the bottom with a T over an X crossed mark. This mark was used by Carl Thieme in Dresden between 1891 and 1901.
    Has a lot of wear to the gilding along the edge, but no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 10 1/2 inches wide.
