    Schierholz Dresden Style Hand Painted Floral Reticulated Compote Circa 1907 - 27
    Beautiful reticulated & bolted porcelain compote decorated in the Meissen / Dresden style with nicely hand painted flowers in purple, yellow, orange, blue, and pink, with gold gilded scrollwork. Gold gilded highlights to the reticulation. Marked on the bottom in blue with a crown and shield and C. G. Schierholz & Sohn Plaue Scharzburg-S. This mark was used by Christian Gottfried Schierholz and Sons in Plaue, Thuringia, Germany between 1907 and 1927.
    Has wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 8 3/4 inches wide x 4 3/8 inches tall.
