    Description

    KPM Child's Set
    Exceptional hand-painted KPM child's set consisting of a dinner plate, soup bowl, bread or dessert plate and a cup and saucer. The pieces feature beautifully painted children, various musical and military items such as helmets, rifles and bugles, and animals that are skillfully done on a white ground. Surrounding the verge, there is the name Ferdinand in gilt. The dinner plate also has the name Tornomer and is dated
    1895-1896
    . The plates are further accented with a rich gilt scalloped rim.

    Dinner plate:
    9" in diameter
    Soup Bowl: 8 3/4"
    in diameter
    Dessert Plate: 6"
    in diameter
    Cup and Saucer: 3 high, 3 1/4" in diameter at the rim; and 5 1/2" in
    diameter, respectively
    With the exception of the cup and saucer, the pieces are signed in blue on the bottom with the KPM
    mark
    In very good original condition.
    There is very slight wear to the gilt.
