Franziska Hirsch Dresden Hand Painted Floral & Gold Shoe / Slipper C. 1901-1930
Pretty porcelain shoe / slipper. Decorated with hand painted Meissen / Dresden style flowers in pink, purple, blue, yellow, and orange. With gold gilt designs along the edge, and gold gilding to the heel of the shoe.
Also marked on the bottom in blue with a winged H over Dresden. This mark was used by Franziska Hirsch in Dresden, Germany between 1901 and 1930.
Has some wear to the gilding, and one very small gilded over in manufacture flake to the edge above the heel, but otherwise good condition with no post manufacture chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 6 3/8 inches long x 1 7/8 inches wide x 3 1/8 inches tall.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
