Dresden Ambrosius Lamm Cobalt Hand Painted Encrusted Gold Footed Cup & Saucer #5

Description

This is an Antique Dresden Ambrosius Lamm Cobalt & Hand Painted Encrusted Gold Footed Cup & Saucer #5.  Both pieces have the Dresden lamb mark on the bottom.  The footed cup is 2-7/8" high and 3-5/8" wide at the top rim.  The saucer is 5-3/4" wide.  The center of the saucer is slightly raised for a pedestal style display of the cup.  The gold design is beautifully hand painted.  I believe that is a monogram on the front side of the cup although it is very ornate so I can't make out the letters and looks more like scrolls.
Both pieces are in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, repairs, or stains.  There is some gold wear on the outer edge of the saucer where you can see some of the cobalt coming through and also some gold wear on the inner rim of the saucer showing some white coming through.  There are a few tiny specs of cobalt coming through on the bottom edge of the footed cup and one tiny spot of white seen on the gold handle of the cup.  The detailed painted design is all in beautiful condition!
This is a previously used item and may show light signs of gentle use.
